Britain has voted to leave the European Union. This will leave both the UK and the rest of Europe in great political uncertainty for the foreseeable future. In the short term we foresee increased volatility and investor risk aversion, although we expect central banks will try to reassure markets by providing necessary liquidity and extending or stepping up their accommodative policies. The search for yield will likely continue to be the main investment theme.
